Courses & Workshops

I love to talk about the plants – all the wild ones, the strong ones, the mysterious and magical ones that grow around us in Our Healing Garden!

My workshops are all about one thing – inspiring people to get re-connected to their plants, to want to learn more, to have the confidence to try making their own remedies and to grow into deeper relationship with the plant beings. Herbal medicine and plant spirit courses are held in my Garden Room at Butterwell and also at other venues including Dorchester, Westcott in Surrey. You can even have your own bespoke workshop at a venue to suit you!

Labyrinth courses with Mark Willenbruch are offered at labyrinth sites and plans are afoot to offer them at 42 Acres, near Frome, Somerset.

I also teach the Introduction to Herbal Medicine courses for Neal’s Yard Remedies in Covent Garden, Gillingham/Dorset, Bristol and Salisbury.

“Julie the tutor is a wonderful practitioner with an amazing energy.  She bought the magical spirit with her to teach this course.”

“Very enjoyable course, tutor very knowledgeable and approachable.”

“I liked the teacher – her lovely way of making the plants sparkle 😊”

Intuitive Plant Medicine

One day special workshops…

Each workshop will focus on developing our deeper communication with the plants.

We will work intuitively with the living plants outside in my herb garden. Some of the topics covered include making herbal remedies, flower essences and incense. We’ll weave in plant mythology and folklore from our ancient British native healing traditions. We will listen to the plants, opening to their essence, their spirit.
Find your own plant ally and develop your own intimate relationship through ‘day-dreaming’ and a drumming journey, receive their healing gifts and wisdom.
